You have homework to do to stage your home for sale
Go to a reputable internet site like realtor.com and research the competition. You want to look at similar homes in your price range. Notice how your home compares to those other homes listed for sale. Watch the virtual tours and look at all of the photos. Does your home look better or worse? What do you have to do to persuade a buyer to buy your home over the competition? Ask yourself these questions. Does this house have better curb appeal than mine? Does this house look outdated? Does this house have a nice kitchen? How about the backyard? Are the paint colors neutral? Will this home need repairs, ex. roof, painting? Will this home need landscaping? Do they have decking or a porch? Is there a one car garage, 2 cars or no garage? How does your house compare to these other houses? Are you above or below the standard? What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Home Staging can help you down play the weaknesses and accentuate its strengths.
