Pictures don’t lie – before and after home staging
Assessing your home correctly is one of the most important things you can do. How? With pictures. Start at your front door and take 4 – 5 pictures of every room going from room to room as you think the buyer would do. Now you must be brutally objective as if you were a buyer or realtor. You know those buyers can be brutal. Have you watched the show on HGTV where they film the buyers and their comments as they go through a home? Wicked, just wicked. Back to the pictures. Enlarge the pictures as much as possible and put on your buyers eyes. Pretend for a moment that this is not your house, but one you are looking to purchase. Now rip it apart. No just kidding. Now make notes about what you see that you can improve. Set a timeline and get busy. Of course, you can take a short cut and call your Home Stager for faster results.
